Dominic has been part of VDH since 2018 and practises within the firm’s specialist debt review team. He brings a measured, practical approach to his work, with a strong understanding of the court processes and legal requirements involved in progressing debt review applications.
Biography
Dominic Horne joined VDH Attorneys Inc in 2018 and holds an LLB from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Since joining the firm, he has developed his practice within VDH’s specialist debt review environment, gaining experience in the legal and procedural work required to move applications through the court process.
Dominic approaches his matters with consistency, careful preparation and a practical focus on progressing each application towards resolution. As part of VDH’s legal team, he contributes to the firm’s broader commitment to providing Debt Counsellors with reliable and professionally managed litigation support.
Outside of practice, Dominic is married and recently became a father. He enjoys cooking, testing his general knowledge at trivia nights, and relaxed poker games with friends.

The People Behind the Process
VDH's legal team brings together attorneys with extensive experience in debt review litigation, court appearances, opposed proceedings, legal research, regulatory matters and the practical application of the National Credit Act.
Our attorneys operate across the Western Cape, Gauteng and Limpopo and are supported by specialised litigation, court-management and administrative teams.
Some members of the firm have spent the majority of their legal careers working in debt review. Others bring experience from general litigation, prosecution, the Magistracy, advocacy, regulatory work and other areas of legal practice.
That combination is deliberate.
Debt review litigation does not happen in isolation. It requires an understanding of civil procedure, consumer-credit law, evidence, enforcement, court practice and the practical financial circumstances underlying each application.
